Lady Gaga's chart?

Lady Gaga is no ordinary person. Maybe that is why her chart doesn't follow the 'ordinary' path and pattern to show artistic talent? Here is the chart, found on Astrotheme.fr with no mention of source for the very specific time of birth. Is it perhaps a guess chart?

The important angular Mars at the Descendant is 'calling' shows how driven and active she is. She is the typical 'workaholic'. Scorpio Moon mirrors a strong personality. The Sun is 105 d Uranus. Her Venus is trine Uranus. There is a wide square between her Sun and Mars! at Descendant. She is rather independent and loves surprises and falling in love (Venus-Uranus). Venus-Uranus also gives her artistic aspirations and sense of rhythm. Many pop singers have a Venus-Uranus aspect.

The usual pattern of aspects of Moon, Venus and Neptune, related to Midheaven, is missing. This chart has Sun/Moon square Venus and that means that art, entertainment, fun and love motivate her. Instead of the missing pattern, she has Moon/Neptune sesquisquare Venus and Sun/Moon. Pisces Midheaven is sextile Neptune.

How to relate her success to her natal chart? There is:
- Jupiter rising before the Sun for the positive and self assured international
- Vesta conjunct Midheaven helps her to focus on her career (just like Mars!)
- Moon trine Jupiter is a rather fortunate aspect. This Moon is also conjunct Pluto. The combination of Moon, Jupiter and Pluto increases popularity. Susanne Pleshette's chart

In 2008 I wrote about Susanne Pleshette on Astropost.blogspot.com and I like to transfer this post to here now, with a chart drawing included.

Suzanne Pleshette died, age 70, early in the evening of the 19th of January of 2008, two weeks before her 71st birthday.

 She was born 31st January 1937 at 22h24 (Astrotheme.fr). Since August 2006 it was known that she was being treated for lung cancer (that was with P Moon square Pluto, just before the progressed New Moon and a few months after Sun semi sextile Saturn). 18 Months earlier the progressed Sun inconjunct Neptune announced a vulnerable health. Transit Pluto squared the Progressed MC last year. Progressed Mars inconjunct Uranus and transit Chiron trine Ascendant accompanied her final days. In the progressed chart Saturn is less than 1 degree from her IC. There will probably even more to discover but let's talk about her life and achievements.

She was a beautiful actrice. There were a number of indications for that:

• Notice the MC in Cancer ruled by Moon in Libra
• Moon in Libra on the Ascendant (attraction)
• Ascendant ruled by Venus in Pisces
• Venus in 6 conjunct Aries Point (known for beauty)
• Neptune is final dispositor of the MC (arts)
• Moon is square the MC (memorizing, actor)
• Mercury crucial on the IC for the use of communication methods

Artistic or idealistic keeper of memories with on orientation on communications, that is what could be read in this chart of Susanne Pleshette. How about the astrological pattern for artists (Moon, Venus, Neptune and MC related and some placements in their signs)? We see:

Meryl Streep has the role of the main character in the movie about Thatcher and really: they managed to make her look like the former PM! For an obvious reason there is a relationship between the actor and the person that he/she is impersonating. And so it is in the case of Margaret Thatcher and Meryl Streep.

Meryl Streep and Margaret Thatcher both have an aspect between Sun and Jupiter (Meryl the inconjunction, Margaret the square). They also both have an aspect between Sun and Pluto (Thatcher has the square again, Meryl Streep has a semi square). The combination of Sun with Jupiter and Pluto increases self confidence and is one of the keys to success (or is it the result of it? One never knows…)

Of course, they are very different. Their charts are also different. But there is another similarity. Both ladies have Mars rising before the Sun and that is typical for ‘iron ladies’ (as Mars is the symbol of iron, male energy and drive). You might say that both are driven and successful or driven by (towards) successes.

Their synastry doesn’t show much of a ‘relationship’. The Sun in Libra (Thatcher) doesn’t match the Sun in Cancer (Streep and their Moons are in Leo (Thatcher) and Taurus. But the Mars of Margaret is trine the Mars of Meryl, so that they could be working together (and in fact, they have a relationship in the professional field).

The chart of Meryl Streep today has a Jupiter-Uranus ‘arrangement’. That is mirroring the commotion (controversy, too) and the great success of her latest movie. (BTW, Cancer has a rather good horoscope for 2012!: http://www.astromarkt.net/2012-2013-horoscopes.html

In her natal chart we see the pattern of professional work using an artistic talent in the exact square of Venus in Cancer with Midheaven and Venus in aspect with the Taurus Moon and Neptune in Libra. Also notice the angular Pallas.

The chart of Margaret Thatcher has a prominent angular Saturn on the Ascendant and in Scorpio, trine Pluto ruler one, as a sort of a statement for the ‘die hard’. In the progressed chart Jupiter is almost conjunct Ascendant (changing sign to Aquarius). Transit Saturn is about to square the progressed Ascendant.

Chart of Edie Sedgwick

On special request I had a look at the chart of the late actrice (in movies of Warhol) and model Edie Sedgwick. By intuition I selected the optional Pallas on Astro.com and see: Pallas is elevated in the chart. Whenever patterns (such as role models) are of importance to someone, Pallas is important in the chart.

Edie Sedgwick's chart has Midheaven trine Moon, square Venus and 157.5 (sesquisquare + half semi square) Neptune. Moon, Venus and Neptune are not connected by aspects between them. This means that the career of Edie Sedgewick had artistic aspects.

Another pattern in the chart of Edie Sedgwick is that of the beautiful woman: Venus conjunct Saturn and sextile Pluto (the pattern that says: 'If you want to be beautiful, you must suffer'). Chart of Brigitte Bardot

On Astrology&Love there is a post about Brigitte Bardot. Subject is the synastry with Roger Vadim. About the artist in the chart...There is the pattern of Venus, Moon and Neptune with Midheaven (angular Moon square Neptune and in aspect with Midheaven, just like Venus).There is also Sun and MC in Libra. Meredith Baxter is on Oprah tonight. Good moment to have a look at the actress in the chart. It is a chart with the Sun in the last degree of Gemini, not making any (major) aspect. That is the symbol of someone drawing attention, like leaders, performers and stars. The Leo Moon seems to confirm this. Alexis Jordan ('Happiness') was born on April 7, 1992 in Columbia, South Carolina, USA. She has a natal chart with Venus quintile Uranus and Venus quintile Neptune, stating:  creating hypes in entertainment. 'Happiness' may not be a classic song, but your brains keep singing it:)! 

The most prominent planet in het chart is the symbol of beauty and style: Venus. Venus is 'calling' and at Aries Point (I mean that there are no major aspect in 5 degrees and in sign and that highlight style.  If she was born within 2 hours around midday, the Moon would make a Golden Yod with Venus and Uranus. Fanny Brice's day of birth

Fanny Brice (stage name of Fania Borach) is hot on Google since One Night with Fanny Brice, a one-woman show about Brice, premiered in New Jersey. Her hour of birth is unknown, but how about the artist in the positions of the day of her birth (October 29, 1891 in New York City)? The pattern of artistic talent contains aspects between Moon, Venus and Neptune added with Taurus, Pisces, Libra and Cancer and completed with Midheaven (Midheaven requires an hour of birth). The pattern is clearly there in the chart of the day of birth of Fanny Brice.
We see a Libra Moon, possibly semi square Venus and Venus 157.5 (sesquisquare + half semi square) Neptune. Fifty percent of her positions are in water signs (empathy, emotions). And Mercury is inconjunct Neptune. That is for 'telling tales' (great tool for actors).

Queen Latifah is a rapper and an actress (also in commercials). That is not all. She has her own perfume line, she is a film producer and she was asked to recite a poem written by Mary Angelou at the memorial service for Michael Jackson. She has already written her autobio in 1999 (with P Sun-Pluto, an appropriate progression for digging up your past) and does kick boxing for fun. The surgery (breast reduction) that she underwent in early 2003 was in a period of changing life style.

Her nickname is very much in line with the positions of Sun and Moon. Latifah means ‘ delicate’ and isn’t Pisces one of the most delicate sun signs? Leo is the ‘ royal’ sign and that is where her Moon is.

The indications for a career in entertainment and styling are:

- Neptune without aspect in sign; a ‘ calling ‘ Neptune refers to fantasy, romance, ideals or beliefs and art at any possible level.

There are a number of dramas in her life, like the death of a brother on a motorcycle that she had given him or the carjacking that involved the death of a friend. She was arrested in 1996, with transit Saturn (symbol of restrictions) conjunct the natal Sun. Mars conjunct Saturn and this conjunction inconjunct Uranus mirror possible accidents, incidents, restricted freedom (and the short fuse). Kick boxing (hitting hard) fits with Mars-Saturn, too. With this combination it is always possible to get the short fuse under control. (Einstein has the Mars-Saturn-Uranus combination too and he mentions how he learned to control his temperament.)

PS I like the positions of Chariklo (just before the Sun) and Lilith (square Ascendant) as representatives of the strong woman that she is according to the title of her autobiography: “Ladies First, revelations of a strong woman”.

Bjork is a Scorpio, with a Scorpio Moon and a Scorpio Ascendant. Above all, she has Pluto on top of her chart conjunct Midheaven and Pluto rules Scorpio. Pluto is trine Venus in the second house. 2. She started to be an actor in 1990, with progressed Midheaven square Venus. Venus is the planet of entertainment and style and part of the artistic pattern.
3. She dramatically changed her style in 1994. In 1994 she was almost 30. Her progressed Sun was about to change sign to Capricorn, making one last important aspect in Sagittarius: the opposition with Jupiter (symbol of success). Chart of Mama Cass Elliot

Cass Elliot was one of the Mamas & Papas and she died too soon, probably due to dieting or eating disorder she had a heart attack. She had a beautiful thrilling voice and we can see that in her chart: Uranus (thrilling) in Gemini (communication) and Uranus is the ruler of the Midheaven (the career). Venus, Jupiter and Pluto were aspecting the midpoint of motivation: Sun/Moon. It is the combination for big money and a lot of love. Notice the semi square between Jupiter and Pluto, indicating the wasted energy in that field. With Sun conjunct Neptune and trine Saturn ruler of the 8th house in the equal house system, there was a certain risk for illnesses and early swift death, related to nutrition (Ceres is in the 8th house!). In the year 1974 her progressed Sun was in the final degree of Libra and about to make an inconjunction with URanus, progressed ruler 8 in the equal house system. Also, the tighest aspect in her chart is the square between Venus in the sixth house of diet with Pluto, reflecting the price you pay for beauty and pleasure. For the artist we seee that Neptune is rising before the Sun in a tight conjunction with the Sun. The Moon (unaspected!) is inconjunct Midheaven, Neptune is sesquisquare and Venus is square Midheaven. But there is no connection between them (though there is a 15d distance between Moon and Neptune). It is like if there is no such need for ideal beauty or pleasure, but that it is the career related to beauty and pleasure and sweet dreams.

Cass Elliot was a big woman and food killed her. I think that Ceres is the key, because Ceres is in the eight house, inconjunct Saturn and square Sun-Neptune. The combination of Sun-Saturn-Neptune is the combination of being ill or sick. Ceres is the symbol of nutrition (and genes). Something was wrong and Uranus on the Ascendant is a perfect way to express that her presentation (looks) was just as special as her voice was. Uranus is not making aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees, so that Uranus is 'calling', making her special at any possible level, anyhow!

I guess that life has been more intense (again) than ever. She is in a period of transformation to another life style. Such a period can be very difficult

Those are indications for restricted energy and excitement at the same time.
