Charts of Mick Jagger and Keith Richards

Keith Richards and Mick Jagger work together and they are friends. Mercury and Mars (work), Uranus (friendship) and Venus (sympathy) relate their charts:

Keith's Venus is opposition Mick's Mars and square Mick's Mercury.
Keith's prominent Moon is square and his Mars is conjunt Mick's Uranus
Keith's Mercury is trine Mick's Venus

They share a Sun-Jupiter aspect (Mick has Sun conjunct Jupiter, Keith Sun trine Jupiter). Mick has Sun conjunct Pluto, Keith has Sun sesquisquare Pluto. The combianation of Sun, Jupiter and Pluto shows a lot of confidence and possible success. Both have it...They also share a Mercury-Mars aspect (Mick square, Keith biquintile).

Their composite chart for the given hours of birth (source is Astrodatabank) has Mars conjunct MC and Uranus elevated with Sun conjunct Venus. Friendship above all (and perhaps a flash light relationship): that is what Uranus shows us. Working together (Mars on MC) and liking each other (Sun-Venus).

Mick Jagger's chart has all the ingredients for fame: Sun, Mercury, Jupiter and Pluto are opposition Midheaven and the Sun is final dispositor of the Midheaven (that is why he is the leader of the band, the performer). Venus (style, entertainment) is exactly square Midheaven on the crucial spot down under in the chart. The Moon in Taurus (the sign ruled by Venus) is semi square ASC/MC and Neptune (art) is square Sun/Moon. Venus is biquintile Midheaven, showing creative (biquintile) talent (Venus) related to the career.
Mick Jagger's Saturn is rising before the Sun. This means that he is ambitious.

In spite of his wild reputation, the Moon on Midheaven in Virgo reflects the need for perfection in his job. The artistic talent is shown by the aspects of Moon conjunct Midheaven, sextile Venus (sense of art related to the career). Venus is semi quintile Neptune (conjunct Venus/Jupiter) for succes in arts and again: creative artistic talents.

Mick Jagger and Carla Bruni have been a famous couple for a while. See for the chart of that relationship my other blog Astropost.

Astrology chart Johann Sebastian Bach

Composer Johann Sebastian Bach is very popular in March and April of every year, when the Mattheus Passion is performed in many theaters and churches. The artistic pattern in his chart has the same ingredients as those of the other artists on this blog:

1. Venus in the artistic and empathic sign Pisces
2. Moon conjunct Neptune for sense of art
3. Neptune in the sign of Neptune (Pisces) is the first outer planet rising before the Sun for ideals, visions and fantasy before all the rest
4. Venus is quintile Midheaven (for creative talent related to the career)
5. Distance Venus-Neptune is 15 degrees
6. Venus half semi square ASC/MC
7. Venus inconjunct Jupiter and trine Pluto (Jupiter square Pluto); the combination Venus-Jupiter-Pluto means great success in entertainment or art. Venus is also related to Jupiter/MC and to Pluto/MC.
8. Mercury conjunct Venus combines communications with style
9. Midheaven trine Uranus (and quintile Venus)...Venus and Uranus together show sense of rhythm. The combination is frequent in the charts of singers and musicians.
10. The crucial Sun on Ascendant rules the 5th house in the equal house chart. The 5th hous is the house of games, plays and entertainment.
11. I count more than 15 midpoint combinations with Jupiter (success indicators).
12. Ruler MC Saturn would be in the 5th equal house (and is in the Placidus 6th).

And then there is Sun inconjunct Saturn ruler Midheaven and that reminds me that I must mention that he died poor and that his wife and children in very poor conditions. It took the world 75 years to recongnize the value of his works. There was success in art (Venus-Jupiter), but...it was Venus INCONJUNCT Jupiter. Sadly.

About the effect of the inconjunction, see http://astropost.blogspot.com/2009/01/effect-of-inconjunction.html

Astrology chart Woody Allen

This is the natal chart of director Woody Allen, who's astrological pattern of artistic talent has:

1. Neptune calling! (no major aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees)for the importance (at any level) of imagination, fantasy and empathy
2. Taurus Midheaven and Venus final dispositor in Libra (for entertainment linked to the career)
3. Moon trine Venus (for sense of art)
4. Moon square Midheaven
5. Venus semi quintile Neptune (for artistic skills)
6. Jupiter calling! just like Neptune. Jupiter and Neptune's prominence reflect the fans and followers (the devoted audience).

Saturn is crucial in this chart. Responsibility, ambition and parents or parenthood are of crucial importance in his life. Saturn rules the 5th house of (pro-)creativity and shows us that he manages (Saturn) a creation (5th house).

Astrology chart Bruce Willis (2nd marriage)

Bruce Willis was born 19 March 1955 at 18h32 in Idar-Oberstein, says Astrotheme (and I noticed the same hour on Astrodatabank). His natal chart contains many indications for fame, the astrological pattern for artistic talents and indications for being an idol. How? Like this:

The most important positions are for the Sun (on the Descendant) and Mercury (rising before the Sun and not making aspects in sign, disposing of the Midheaven and related to Sun/Moon). This shows us that he is drawing attention (performing or leading) and that communications are vital. The midpoint ASC/MC is aspected by Sun and Jupiter (for success).
The Moon is biquintile Neptune and 15 degrees from Venus. Neptune is trine Midheaven and links the career to empathy and fantasy. There is the artistic pattern.
Mars is semi square Aries Point. Mars's influence adds the importance of muscles.
I count over 20 midpoint combinations with Jupiter involved. These are indications for successes, like for example MC semis quare Mercury/Jupiter and Pluto semi square Jupiter/MC and square Sun/Jupiter.
Sun inconjunct Neptune is reflecting the actor (who is often taken for the role that he is playing instead of the real Bruce; he is an idol). For more about Sun-Neptune see my site Astromarkt.

It seems that Bruce, who's 54th birthday it is today, is about to get married for the second time. Monday, Jupiter is conjunct Venus (perfect moment for a party) and Saturn inconjunct Venus (for disproportional cold feet). So probably it will be a nice party with something going wrong. But, as Jupiter is opposition progressed Midheaven and Mercury trine progressed Jupiter, I bet that the benefits are greater. On the 21st of March Tertiary Sun will be trine Jupiter for a great day, too. So whatever sort of a party it may be, it will be a 90% nice weekend.

PS He choose to marry March 27, 2009 with progressed MC square progressed Saturn and transit Jupiter still conjunct Venus and opposition progressed Midheaven.

Charts of Audrey Tautou and Coco Chanel

When an actor plays the role of a famous person, often there is a sort of a connection between the chart of the actor and of the impersonated person. Audrey Tautou will act as Coco Chanel and we see Coco's Neptune (inspiration, spirit) trine the Ascendant of Tautou who will present herself (Ascendant) as the image (Neptune) of Coco.

Audrey Tautou has a few prominent placements in her chart that give us an impression of her artistic talents:

1. Venus is in Libra
2. Venus is opposition Aries Point
3. Venus is 15 degrees away from Moon
4. Moon is sextile Neptune
5. Moon is in Libra
6. Neptune is square Sun/Moon
7. Neptune is at a crucial spot (down under in the chart)
8. Midheaven and Pluto are in aspect with Venus/Jupiter (great success and profit with a carreer related to entertainment)

Coco Chanel had other kind of talents. She was able to lead a company. She started her career with an affair with a very rich man, while working at a tailoring shop. Maybe that is why Mars (men) is crucial in her chart? Another important planet is Jupiter. Jupiter is the first outer planet rising before the Sun. And last but not least there is Pluto. Pluto does not make major aspects in sign or orb 5 degrees. That makes Pluto important, the 'calling' planet. We see Mars, Jupiter and Pluto prominently placed in her chart. The combination of Mars, Jupiter and PLuto is an indication for a lot of energy and enterprise and a sign for success. Besides:

1. Moon is in Pisces for sense for 'la mode', fashion
2. Venus is square Neptune for artistic talents
3. Libra is on Midheaven for a career related to style and diplomacy
4. Uranus and Pluto are related to ASC/MC, signifying crucial and dramatic changes in life
5. Pluto is related to Sun/Moon and Pluto is in the 5th house of creations and fun
6. Jupiter is exactly conjunct Mercury/Pluto, for successful communications
7. Mars is exactly conjunct Jupiter/Pluto, confirming the crucial placements of Mars, Jupiter and Pluto (for successful enterpreneur)

There is one important thing in this chart that points at fashion (or any other branche related to the basic needs of menkind, like clothes, food, having someone to take care of you as a child and edcution). And that is the Moon.
The Moon is the first planet that will be 'hit' by the Ascendant on the day of birth. The Moon is standing apart from the other positions in the chart.

PS The Black Moon is on the Midheaven. Funny that Lilith is the mythical 'runaway bride' of Adam and that she never married.

Astrology chart Harpo Marx

The chart of Harpo Marx shows that he is an artist in a rather peculiar way, just as peculiar as his role was. Three minor aspects (septile, quintile and quindecile) connect Venus and Neptune with the Moon, final dispositor of the Cancer Midheaven. Venus is on a crucial spot in the chart (down under), without making Ptolemaic aspects. That makes Venus (symbol of talents) important for the vocation.

I remember Harpo Marx as the silent (somewhat irritating) Marx Brother and so I am not surprised to see his Sun opposition Neptune/Pluto, the combination of the silent force. And how intruiging that Mercury (semi square), Uranus (half semi square) and Pluto (112.5d) are in aspect with the important midpoint Sun/Moon, reflecting 'being very controversial and radical in communications'! Another way to read this combination is that he had a very irritable way to communicate:) LOL!

Harpo is the only Marx Brother who managed to stay married the first time. But...he married late and maybe that is the secret:).

Astrology chart Matt Damon

Matt Damon is a movie star. His chart shows the artistic pattern and has the ingredients for the attractive male (the handsome guy). See the chart. We also notice that Venus, Jupiter and Neptune are together on top of this chart and that this means that he has the support of a devoted female audience. Venus and Neptune show the artistic talents and the tight sextile of Moon and Venus is reflecting sense of art (and good senses:).

On Astropost.blogspot there is more about attractive men and their charts...Just like Matt Damon they have cool signs and Saturnal influences.

Astrology chart Stevie Wonder

A perfect example of the astrological artistic pattern is Stevie Wonder. In his chart the pattern is complete.

1. Neptune is on the Ascendant, an important placement for the symbol of the artist
2. Venus is opposition Ascendant, a prominent place for the 'talents'
3. Moon is rising before the Sun, so sense is highlighted
4. Moon is conjunct Venus (conjunction translated by Neptune's light)
5. Venus is opposition Neptune (for the question of artistic talents)
6. Moon is opposition Neptune (for the question of sensitivity and empathy)
7. Moon rules Midheaven
8. Neptune is square Midheaven (exactly)
9. Neptune is connected to ASC/MC (so that fantasy and 'vision' is crucial)
10. Venus semi square Jupiter/Pluto (great success as an artist or in love, earning a lot of money)

Venus is involved in a wide square with Uranus, with the Sun conjunct the midpoint Venus/Uranus for sense of rhythm.

Astrology chart Al Pacino

Art&Astrology shows you that there is an artistic pattern in the natal charts of artist. Actor Al Pacino has such a artistic pattern in his natal chart. It is a complete compositon of Moon, Venus and Neptune with Midheaven. This composition relates the career to artistic talent (sensitivity and empathy) and sense of art, style and beauty.

1. Moon opposition Venus
2. Moon square Neptune
3. Venus square Neptune
4. Moon trine MC
5. Venus sextile MC
6. Neptune inconjunct MC
7. Moon in the 5th house of entertainment

Success was written in the chart, too. Jupiter is rising before the Sun and conjunct Midheaven. Pluto is conjunct Ascendant. The prominence of the combination of Jupiter and Pluto leads (most of the time) to successes. The special marks in his chart (the Astro I.D.) shows great confidence.

Astrology chart of Maurice Ravel

The Bolero of Maurice Ravel is world famous. Ravel was born in 1875 but his music is still modern. Uranus on the Midheaven mirrors the man ahead of his time.

The artistic pattern is clear. The Moon is in Pisces, semi square Venus and Venus is square Neptune (out of sign). The Moon is biquintile Midheaven. This is already enough to see sense of beauty and style. And it shows artistic talent, creatively related to the careeer.

Ravel had several long lasting relationships but never married. I like to point at Pluto in the seventh house (making marriage a challenge or a must). This Pluto is exactly square Saturn. Saturn is the planet of restrictions and fear. Possibly he was to scared to be bound to one person only.

Astrology chart Piet Mondriaan

Piet Mondriaan was a painter. He used primary colours, squares and lines and was very modern in his days. Art (and art in a special way) was born to him, according to his natal chart. These are the 7 indications:

1. Neptune square Ascendant/Midheaven (art is crucial)
2. Conjunction of Moon and Venus in Aquarius (for sense of avant garde art)
3. Moon and Venus in aspect with Midheaven (relating sense of art and style to the career)
4. Dispositor Midheaven is Jupiter and Jupiter is in the 5th house of creativity
5. Moon connects Neptune, too (by a 67.5 degree minor aspect of semi square + half semi square)
6. Uranus (symbol of 'being different' and of rebellion) is not making Ptolemaic (major) aspects. That is what I name a 'calling' Uranus, indicating that he was 'called' to be avant garde.
7. The Moon rises before the Sun, conjunct Venus. Sense of style and first of all sense of what people need (fashion).

Just like in the charts of the other artists on Art&Astrology you see the link between Moon, Venus and Neptune with Midheaven.

Astrology chart Sergio Castellito

Sergio Castellito is an Italian actor. He played the role of Enzo Ferrari, for example. He was born on 18 August 1953 at 18h20 in Rome with the Moon (symbol of memorizing and behaviour = acting) on the Midheaven, semi square Neptune and Venus square Neptune. That is an artistic pattern like the ones you keep seeing on Art & Astrology. Venus - the symbol of style and beauty - is in a sign ruled by the Moon (Cancer) and is also related to the midpoint Sun/Moon, together with Mercury and Jupiter (reflecting success).
